Delores Hunt - This hunt is located on a 20 sq. mile lease on the Delores river. We have been offering this semi-guided hunt since 1969. We offer drop camps that are wall tents with cots and woodstoves along with cooking utensils. You bring your food and personal gear, we will pack you in on horses...then return and pack you out. We also offer our lodge hunts that include three meals per day, scouting reports twice a day and warm comfortable rooms. Our third option is you can rent one of our cabins on the Delores river. Meals at the lodge can also be provided if you wish. This ranch has always had great success on trophy animals and many of our clients return year after year. We offer archery, muzzleloader, and rifle hunts for mule deer and elk. Tags may be purchased at the ranch for elk, but mule deer tags are by state drawing and can be drawn fairly easily. The Unit # is 71. The #1 typical buck was taken within a mile of this ranch.

Divide Hunt - This semi-guided hunt is on a small private ranch on the border of trophy units 61 & 62 on the Uncompahgre plateau surrouded by national forest. The accomodations are in a brand new lodge with all meals provided, as well as recent scouting reports and how to hunt the area. Unit 61 is considered by some to be the best place to take a B&C buck and bull in Colorado. Unit 61 also requires many points to draw a tag, but is worth the wait. Landowner vouchers may also be availible for purchase. Unit 62 also produces trophy animals, but is much easier to aquire a tag. Elk tags for 2nd & 3rd seasons may be purchased over the counter. Muzzleloader elk tags are a general draw tag and 1st season elk are fairly easy to draw. Mule deer tags are also fairly easily drawn in this unit, and many bucks over 30" are taken every year, as well as many bull elk exceeding the 300" mark. The lodge is situated near the best areas in both units to take trophy animals. Your host is a native to the area and has first hand knowledge of where to find quality animals. Hunt cost is $1500 per hunter.

Little Cimmeron Hunt - Hunt on a 3000 acre private ranch + 1000 acres of forest we landlock in Unit 64. This ranch is located in the little cimmeron country south of Montrose. The ranch consists of aspens on the upper part of the ranch and alfalpha fields at the lower part. There are roads on the property which you can use to get around or retrieve game. We have hunted this ranch for many years with high success. Expect mule deer in the 170"-190" range and elk in the 240"-310" range. The ranch has been strictly managed, as are all of our ranches, allowing only three hunters per season on the ranch at a time. This ranch holds a good number of resident animals and will continually get better as weather and public hunting pressure brings new animals to the property. We offer archery hunts, muzzleloader, 1st elk only, 2nd rifle season, 3rd rifle season combo hunts and 4th season (elk only) hunts. We allow no more than twelve hunters per year total on this ranch. Accomodations are wall tents with woodstoves, firewood, cots for sleeping and some cooking utensils. You bring sleeping bags, firearm or bow and all personal items. All Colorado deer tags are on a drawing basis. We can provide landowner deer vouchers if needed for additional fee on a limited basis. Elk tags can be purchased over the counter. The exception is 1st elk only season which can be drawn easily in this unit. Cost of archery hunt is $1800 per hunter. Muzzleloader & rifle combo hunts are $2300 per hunter. Buckhorn Cabin Hunt - This ranch is located in Unit 65 in the Little Cimmerron on an 8000 acre ranch with a brand new cabin on it that will sleep up to six. It has running water, full kitchen and woodstove. This ranch sits at 8500' in elevation with lots of aspens and oaks and holds lots of resident animals as well. Weather and outside hunting pressure will also bring in more animals. There are roads on the ranch and you can drive to the cabin. This area of the Cimmerron's is known for quality bucks and bulls. We have taken mule deer in the 170" range and bulls to 280" in the past and have had 100% success on all our mule deer hunts. The elk are weather dependent on this ranch as it is not real high in elevation. We will offer archery, muzzleloader, 2nd rifle combo & 3rd rifle combo hunts. All deer tags in Colorado are on a draw basis, but we can provide landowner vouchers for an additional fee. Elk tags can be purchased over the counter, except the 1st elk only season, but it can easily be drawn in this unit. Cost of hunt is $2500 for rifle and muzzleloader. Davewood Hunt - This ranch is in Unit 62 near the famed Horsefly Creek area on Dave Wood Road. The ranch is 1000 acres that borders up to forest ground. This ranch has the only water source for five miles and has been cleared of cedars, developing habitat with lush meadows and ponds. This ranch has a modern cabin with running water and power. The cabin will sleep up to six and has a full kitchen, woodstove and fireplace. The ranch has roads on it and you can drive up to the cabin. This ranch also holds lots of resident animals and is a natural funnel for mule deer and elk when pressured on public ground. And, snow will also push more animals onto the ranch. We have shared near 100% sucess on this ranch on both deer and elk in the past. Expect mule deer in the 165"-200" range and elk in the 250"-350" range. One of our hunters harvested a 346" bull on this ranch in 2007. We limit the ranch to four hunters per season and no more than sixteen per year. We will hunt archery, muzzleloader, 1st season elk only, 2nd rifle combo, 3rd rifle combo & 4th season hunts. All deer tags in Colorado are on a draw basis, but we can provide a limited number of landowner vouchers at an additional cost. Escalante Hunt - This hunt is on a 200 acre ranch in Unit 62 behind a locked gate that landlocks thousands of acres of forest land near Escalante canyon at the 9000'-10,000' elevation. The ranch has two springs on the property and is surrounded by aspens and high meadows, making this an early season paradise for big mulies and elk. This ranch has had high success in the past and in 2007 a 220" muley was taken in the muzzleloader season. This area is known for its high density of elk and has produced bulls to 360" in the past. We will provide wall tents with woodstoves, firewood, cots for sleeping, some cooking utensils, maps of area and how to hunt it. You bring sleeping bags, food, firearms, and personal gear. All deer tags in Colorado are on a drawing basis, but we can provide a limited number of landowner vouchers for an additional fee. We will hunt archery, muzzleloader, 1st elk only season and 2nd rifle season. Due to the elevation, we will not offer a 3rd or 4th season with the possibility of being snowed out. Mailbox Hunt - This ranch is located in Unit 70 near the famed Mailbox country. This ranch sits at 7000'-8000' elevation and is also near trophy unit 61 that requires many years to draw a tag in. This ranch is 2400 acres and landlocks several thousand acres of BLM ground that has no other access. This ranch has a deep canyon that runs through it with lots of rimrock and cedars. This area has produced trophy animals in the past. Expect big mulies in the 175"-220" range. Bull elk 300"-400" possible. This hunt has lots of resident animals and late in the season mule deer and trophy elk will migrate from unit 61 into this area. We offer 1st season rifle elk hunts, 2nd season combo hunts, 3rd season combo hunts and 4th season hunts. All deer tags in colorado are on a draw basis, but we can provide a limited number of landowner tags for an additional fee if needed.
