This Hunt takes place in Southwest Colorado in the heart of some of the finest trophy mule deer and elk country in the world, it has been said that it has become “THE PLACE” to harvest a trophy size mule deer. The world record Burris buck was taken in Dolores County Colorado. Our outfitter has been in the business for over 20 years and is well respected in the hunting world for taking trophy size animals, Our outfitter hunts on mainly private ranches that he leases and has implemented a strict trophy management plan to all ranches, He does this by only harvesting mature bucks and bulls or culling out genetically inferior animals to insure trophy quality in the seasons to come. Accomadations are out of a modern spacious lodge with home cooked meals, Our guides are all local and very experienced capable of scoring live animals accurately. We offer Archery, Muzzleloader, 1st Rifle Elk only, 2nd combined rifle, 3rd combined rifle and 4th season combined rifle hunts both fully guided hunts for all seasons and semi guided for archery & muzzleloader seasons. All deer tags in Colorado are on a draw basis but we do offer landowner vouchers for all units we operate in, Elk tags can be purchased over the counter except the muzzleloader and 1st rifle season call for pricing.
