Our outfitter is located within the heart of the River Of No Return Wilderness, Middle fork of the Salmon River. With exclusive hunting rights to 300 square miles of wilderness, the only access to much of this remote country is by bush plane, float boat, or horseback.

This Middle fork country is famous for its abundance of trophy animals, and it is the most remote hunting area in the continental United States. The quality of success is measured not only by the trophy you may harvest, but also by the wonderful experience you'll definitely enjoy.

Our combination elk, deer, and bear hunts are conducted from mid-September through mid-November. All hunts are for 8 days. We concentrate on hunting elk and deer, but offer bear hunts at no additional cost.

Over the years, this hunt has produced some exceptional record class animals, and the success rate is quite high. We allow 6 hunters per week throughout the season for the entire 300 square miles. So, as you might imagine, bucks and bulls can grow old and grow big, and the enjoyment of getting away from the crowds is unbeatable.

The operation is a family ran business and they take pride in offering only the finest experience to their hunters, and they always give 110%. While on the hunt, you'll be staying in heated wall tents, riding gentle horses and eating great food!

I (Dan Herrera) have been on this hunt 3 times, and was amazed by the quantity and quality of the animals. And on each trip, I harvested a trophy animal, after looking over many other great animals and not seeing another hunter in the field.

Bighorn Sheep & Rocky Mountain Goats:

In addition to elk, deer, and bear, the outfitter also offers trophy bighorn sheep and mountain goat. The sheep and goats are hunted on a lottery basis, with applications being due in late-April. Spring Bear & Cougar:

Also offered, in the spring, are spring bear hunts. Hunting a big bear while their coat is in season and at its finest, is great fun, and 90% of the bears harvested are big males, many with blond colored coats. 95% success!

Our cougar hunts are some the most exciting hunts we offer. The hunts are conducted on horseback while following excellent hounds, and the excitement will have your heart pounding! Very high success rate!
